The trial of a man accused of murdering Bobby Messitt and the attempted murder of two others at Bray boxing Club in June of 2018, will resume next Monday.
The trial began on the 13th of June last and was due to conclude by last Friday. But 27 days of legal arguments have stalled the trial since the 13th of July.
Two members of the jury were discharged earlier this month because of the delays.
Earlier this week, the remaining members of the jury were asked to consider if they could continue to hear the case, which is now expected to run to the third week of October.
The three men and seven women confirmed yesterday that they were available and the trial will resume next week.
