Road users in Wicklow and surrounding counties are being advised to exercise care, particularly on secondary routes after strong winds overnight.
Gust of up to 100 kilometres an hour has left debris and branches on most minor roads. Their are reports this morning of tress blocking roads in several places in Wicklow.
With heavy rain and strong winds expected at times today, Met Eireann says driving conditions will be difficult at times and have urged road users to slow down and keep their distance
