Arklow Welcomes New Inclusive Swing To Seaview Avenue Playground.

The new swing was sponsored by the Arklow Vikings Special Olympics Club on behalf of its members.

Arklow Municipal District welcomed a new inclusive swing to Seaview Avenue playground on Thursday the 28th of March.

The new swing was sponsored by the Arklow Vikings Special Olympics Club on behalf of its members. Former Club committee members, Irene Sweeney and Sean Quirke, were present for the handover of keys for the piece and dedicated the new piece to all the former club members and their families.

Arklow Municipal District Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Tommy Annesley, thanked the Vikings Special Olympics Club for their sponsorship and welcomed the new piece. Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, Emer O’Gorman, expressed her gratitude to the committee of the Arklow Vikings Special Olympics Club. She added:

"The new unit is a welcome progressive addition and will no doubt provide hours of enjoyment to children of all abilities."
