The body of Ralph Skora was recovered near Rathdrum this morning.
The alarm was raised when Ralph Skora, a married father of two, failed to return to his North Dublin home last night following a paragliding excursion over the Wicklow mountains.
A search was launched by gardai, the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue team and the Irish Coast Guard.
Around 8 o'clock this morning, the body of Mr Skora, who was aged in his 30s, was discovered in a field at the Ballinacor Estate.
Wreckage was found nearby.
The Irish Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association paid tribute to Mr Skora today and extended their sympathies to his friends and family.
An investigation into the incident will be launched by the Air Accident Investigation Unit.
