Wicklow Tourism has launched a visitor passport to encourage people to visit all parts of the county and participate in activities as they drive, cycle or walk through the Garden county.
Similar to the passport used on the Camino walk in Spain, visitors to the county will collect stamps at various locations within the Wicklow Tourism Network. The stamps themselves represent the towns, villages and tourism areas of Wicklow, with 23 stamps in the collection .
Wicklow Tourism believe that the concept of a passport will encourage more people to enjoy routes within Wicklow this summer and beyond.
Those who collect 15 or more stamps will become a Wicklow Ambassador, and receive a special Certificate and gift from Wicklow Tourism.
