Wicklow Restaurants Recognised At Regional Final Of Irish Restaurant Awards

The awards were presented at the Knightsbrook Hotel during the week

The title of Best Restaurant went to The Pigeon House Delgany,  whose Chef Oisin Kehoe-Clarke also took Best Chef award.

Best Newcomer  was Double 8 in Bray. Best Hotel and Guesthouse Restaurant  was presented to The Strawberry Tree at Brooklodge & Macreddin Village  which also won Best Emerging Irish Cuisine.

Best Customer Service award was won by Chakra by Jaipur which also took the Best World Cuisine award

The Wicklow Heather Restaurant and House in Laragh was named Best Gastro Pub, while Best Café went to The Fat Fox in Delgany. 

The Glenmalure Lodge won the  Pub of the Year  award while Box Burger in Bray took home the Best Casual Dining award, with the Best Local Food Hero award presented to Hilda Crampton & Dominic Quinn of Castleruddery Organic Farm.    

All of the county winners now compete for the Regional and All Ireland Titles, which will be announced at the Irish Restaurant Awards at Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin on Monday 18th May.
