The awards are held in partnership with Chambers Ireland and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and aim to highlight the positive impact of local government across Ireland.
Wicklow Council is included in the Best Practice in Community Engagement category for their ‘Include Me’ Visibility Campaign and in the Health and Wellbeing category for its Virtual Couch to 3K - Walk to Jog Programme
Wicklow is also shortlisted for the Disability Services Provision category for its Inclusive Online Easter Camp, while in the Commemorations and Centenaries category, Wicklow has been shortlisted for the War of Independence: The Historians’ Project.
The finals will take place on the 18th of November.
