27 new social housing units have been officially added to Wicklow County Council’s housing stock.
20 new social houses at Avondale heights in Rathdrum, along with seven apartments at the old Arklow library building on Saint Mary’s Road in the town have been unveiled.
The houses are the first to be built through the local authority in 12 years.
A further 32 housing units are expected to come online in the Arklow area later this year.
