Crews in all Municipal Districts are monitoring rivers, many of which remain close to or above bank-full levels, though most have fallen from last week’s peak.
Further heavy rainfall overnight and tomorrow could lead to additional flooding on already saturated ground.
Community Support Centres are on standby, with Civil Defence ready to mobilise if required. Where possible, people are being asked to work from home to reduce traffic and maintain access for essential services.
