Essential water main replacement works are due to get underway in Greystones this morning.
Wicklow County Council and Irish Water are advising residents and businesses in the area that intermittent road closures will be needed to facilitate the works.
Traffic management will be in place and diversions will be clearly signposted.
Almost 1km of old problematic cast iron water mains along Trafalgar and Cliff Road that were prone to leakage will be replaced.
