15 homes on the site of former Powerscourt Arms Hotel have been granted planning - with strict conditions.
More homes are coming to Enniskerry Village. Wicklow County Council has granted planning permission for 15 homes on the site of the former Powerscourt Arms Hotel.
A mix of two, three and four-bed houses will be built on Monastery Road.
22 conditions are attached to the planning permission, among them a stipulation that each home must be bought by an individual purchaser, or used for social, affordable or cost-rental housing.
Strict controls are also set out around construction and environmental protection.
The developer must submit and agree an environmental management plan, a waste and demolition management plan before works begin, and appoint a construction manager to liaise with the council.
