Varadkar Now Says Level Five Type Restrictions Are Being Considered

Level 3 Covid-19 restrictions are now in place in Wicklow and across the country for the next  three weeks.

People are being asked not to travel outside their county unless for work, educational or medical reasonsPubs restaurants and cafes can only serve up to 15 customers seated outside, with eating or drinking inside banned.
Despite his criticism of NPHET on Monday night, Tanaiste Leo Varadkar told the Fine Gael Parliamentary party last night that a short 'circuit-break' lockdown, similar to the level five restrictions proposed by NPHET at the weekend, is being considered.
