Water supply is returning to normal for customers in Wicklow following overnight works to restore supply to Ashford, Glenealy, Rathnew and parts of Wicklow town.
As the network fills and supplies return throughout the morning customers may experience discolouration to their supply. Customers on higher ground or at the end of the network may experience intermittent disruption or low water pressure for a number of hours. For more information, customers can visit: www.water.ie/water-supply/
Uisce Éireann’s Eoghan Forristal said “We would like to thank residents and businesses for their patience and understanding while crews worked to restore supply. Some customers may have brown water and we would ask these customers to run their taps for up to 20 minutes until the water runs clear.”
The Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and customers can also contact us on X @IWCare with any queries. For updates please visit the Water Supply Updates section of water.ie
