Two brothers appeared in Court in Bray yesterday charged with carrying out several burglaries in South Wicklow and North Wexford earlier this week.
21 year old Adam and 23 year old Ross Aspil from Lindisfarne park in Clondalkin were detained in West Dublin early on Tuesday morning, following a high speed chase, involving Gardaí attached to Special Crime Operations and the Garda Air Support Unit.
A filling station in Gorey Town, along with Excel stores in Redcross and Rathnew and the Eir phone shop in Wicklow town were broken into in the early hours of Tuesday morning
Along with causing €10,000 in property damage, the court was told €19,000 worth of property was stolen, however a large quantity of cigarettes along with phones, sim cards and other property were recovered. Both men were granted conditional bail and are due before the court again next Tuesday.
