An agreement has been reached on how fishermen can access Greystones Harbour.
In 2008 when work began on the new harbour, byelaws imposed by the county council prevented local fishing vessels from accessing their moorings.
As part of the resolution of the case, Wicklow County Council and Sispar Limited, who operate Greystones Harbour have announced that a fishing area will be created in the harbour.
Works required for the creation of the fishing area will be carried out over the next number of months.
