The Social Democrats will table a motion today, calling for the hospital to be fully owned by the State.
Yesterday, the St Vincent's Healthcare Group said it must retain ownership of the Elm Park Campus in Dublin.
Co-Leader of the Social Democrats, Roisin Shortall, says the group's latest statement doesn't change anything.
She says the government cannot allow the facility to be given to a private body:
