The Sea Life aquarium on Bray Seafront is to close permanently by the end of the year after over 25 years in operation.
The closure was confirmed today by the aquarium’s UK based owners, Merlin Entertainments. “After careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision,” they said. “Sea Life Bray will be closing its doors permanently towards the end of 2023 after more than 25 years in operation.”
The operation employs up to 20 people at its Bray Seafront location. It is home to a huge range of fish and marine life from around the world.
The closure of Sealife will come as an awful shock - a huge loss for Bray and the country. https://t.co/jbMQH1PAxm
