Wicklow’s Minister of State Andrew Doyle will join the Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council Irene Winters this evening to announce the winners of this year’s Pure Mile awards.
This is the 10th year of the awards, which the Pure project says has seen the highest number of entries.
The Pure Mile Project encourages local community groups to adopt a stretch of road and keep it tidy and litter free.
The awards will be unveiled at the Brooklodge Hotel in Aughrim tonight.
