Property prices rose by just under 10% in the year to October.
There has been a slight fall in the rate at which the price of a home is rising across the country - prices rose by 9.7% nationally, that's down from a rate of 9.9% in the year to September.
Dublin prices rose by 10.4%, that compares to 9.2% outside the capital.
CSO figures show the average price of a home was €350,000 in the year to October.
The region outside Dublin with the largest increase was the border - that's Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan and Sligo, up 14.4%.
While at the other end the Mid East region saw price rises of 7.5% - that's Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow.
