An Bord Pleanála has refused permission to relocate a proposed new cycling and walking bridge over the River Liffey.
The city council wanted to move the €20 million structure in the docklands by 150 metres to Blood Stoney Road so it wouldn't interfere with a proposed Dart Underground Station.
But the planners preferred the original location at Forbes Street because it directly linked Grand Canal Square and Spencer Dock and has turned down the plans to move the bridge.
