Penneys is launching its 38th store in Ireland and its first store in Wicklow today with doors at the new Bray outlet to open at 10am.
With the Bray store now officially added to the Primark website announcing it as “the destination store for this season’s must haves”, Bray Central is finally getting the anchor tenant to complete what has been shaping up to be a prime retail centre on the east coast.
Along with this being the first Wicklow outlet for the brand, the new store will be Penney's 38th store in Ireland with ambitions to reach 530 stores by the end of 2026. Last month, Primark entered its 17th market, opening its first store in Budapest, Hungary.
Commenting on the opening of the eagerly awaited store in Bray, Fintan Costello, Head of Penneys Ireland and Northern Ireland, said: “Opening the first store in a new county is a significant milestone for Penneys, and we can’t wait to welcome new customers and colleagues to Bray. The new Bray store will span 19,600 square feet of retail space across one floor.
