National Parks in Wicklow and across the country will be closed today due to Storm Eunice.
National Parks in Wicklow and across the country will be closed today due to Storm Eunice, with the Department of Heritage asking people to not visit the sites until they reopen. These include the Vale of Clara Nature Reserve, Deputy's Pass Nature Reserve, Glen of the Downs Nature Reserve, Knocksink Wood Nature Reserve, and Tomnafinnoge Wood. This news comes as the Status Orange wind warning remains in place for Wicklow, along with Munster, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford and Galway. According to the Department, they expect most of the parks to reopen on Saturday, with inspections set to be carried out after the storm tomorrow to assess any damage.
