Stormont voted against banning travel between Britain and Northern Ireland last night.
It means, despite the Republic's restrictions on flights with Britain - people there could fly through Belfast and enter the Republic.
Ministers there have only advised against non-essential travel with Britain and the Republic.
Health Minister, Robin Swann, has also recommended that anyone arriving into the region should self-isolate for 10 days.
