UPDATE: N11 Vehicle On Fire Near Arklow. Care Advised

Gardai are attending the scene but smoke is impacting visibility along the route.

Gardai and emergency services have attended the scene of a vehicle fire on the N11 near Arklow this afternoon.

Visibility was impacted for Wicklow motorists, with East Coast FM listeners reporting plumes of smoke along the route from lunchtime.

The incident, which involved a tractor, reduced the northbound stretch of the M11/N11 between Junctions 20 and 21 for a time but was ultimately cleared before the evening commute.

The tractor has been removed and cleaned up

The carriageway has fully reopened. There are no reported injuries.
