A golden eagle, missing for over a week in Wicklow was found by its owner yesterday.
After seven days of appeals for help in locating 12-year-old eagle Kalin, John Nugent from Newcastle, said he found his bird caught in a tree about 1kilometre from his home while out walking yesterday.
John says he believes Kalin had been flying free around the Kilcoole area and that he came back to land somewhere close to home.
