The Medical Assessment Unit at St Columcille's Hospital in Loughlinstown, Dublin is set to close this evening for two days due to a covid outbreak.
There are 31 patients with the virus at the hospital and 58 nursing staff are out as they are either covid positive or covid contacts.
The MAU at the facility will close at 5pm this evening.
