The Victim Of A Weekend Assault Has Suffered Significant Injuries In Arklow
A man in his 50's was brought to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin with serious injuries following an assault in Arklow in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Gardaí responded to an alert incident at approximately 6.30 am at a residence in Ferrybank.
The injured man was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital “for treatment of what are believed to be serious injuries” according to gardaí.
Meanwhile it was confirmed that a man in his 20s has been arrested in relation to the incident
The man was detained at a Garda Station in Co. Wicklow, while investigations remain ongoing.
