A man detained after a machine pistol was seized by Gardai when they stopped a vehicle in Shankill on Saturday evening, is due in court this morning
Officers from the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau were assisted by members from the Emergency Response Unit during the seizure on the N11.
The man in his 40s, is due to appear in court in Bray this morning to face firearms charges.
