A woman in her forties has been killed after being attacked at a house in Enniskerry.
It happened about 4pm on Christmas Eve at Park na Sillogue Court in Enniskerry.
Gardaí arrested a man in his forties -- and say they're not looking for anyone else in connection with the fatal assault.
The scene has been sealed off for a forensic investigation, and gardaí in Bray have asked anyone who was in Park na Sillogue Court on Christmas Eve, between 3 and 4pm to contact them.
