The Minister of State Patrick O’ Donovan will be in Wicklow this morning to discuss the proposed flood relief schemes for Arklow and Glendalough.
Arklow has experienced recurring flooding problems over decades, resulting in substantial damage to public and private properties in the town.
The proposed scheme will see the construction of new flood defences on the south bank of the Avoca River and upgrade works at Arklow Bridge.
