Commuters in Wicklow can enjoy late night train and commuter services starting from this weekend in the run up to Christmas and the New Year.
Irish Rail says they will be aligned with the midnight closing of hospitality and run on Fridays and Saturdays.
The new late night services will commence tonight and will apply to DART, Dundalk, Maynooth and Kildare commuter services.
The full schedule of DART and Commuter services is as follows:
Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th December
Friday 10th & Saturday 11th December
Friday 17th & Saturday 18th December
- 00:30hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
- 00:30hrs from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
- 00:40hrs from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
- 00:20hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
- 00:50hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Drumcondra, and all stations from ParkWest to Kildare
Late night Friday 31st December (after New Year’s Eve concerts):
- 01:30hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Howth
- 01:30hrs from Connolly serving all stations to Greystones
- 01:40hrs from Pearse serving Tara St, Connolly, and all stations from Howth Junction to Dundalk
- 01:20hrs from Pearse serving all stations to Maynooth
