A status yellow rainfall warning is in place in Wicklow and across the country until tomorrow evening.
The warning came into effect at midnight, with persistent and heavy bands of rain forecast across the country.
Some flash flooding is possible - particularly on higher ground.
Met Eireann say the warning will be in place until 7 o’clock tomorrow evening.
