The Minister for Health Wicklow TD Stephen Donnelly has confirmed that Lucena Clinic Services in Wicklow Town will continue to operate and be funded by the HSE.
Concern had been raised after St John of God Community Services announced last month it would be ending its service arrangement with the HSE due to a funding crisis.
The clinic is part of the adolescent mental health service of St. John of Gods but the Minister has said their services will not be withdrawn.
An additional 50 million euro has been allocated to mental health services in 2021 and a working group is considering whether a resolution to the funding issues, which mostly concern disability services, can be reached.
