Now in its second year, the Healthy Wicklow Strategy was developed following consultations with local communities with an aim to reduce health inequalities and protect the public from threats to health and well being.
To date €200,000 euro has been invested under the scheme in projects across the county which promote a positive quality of life.
The strategy will guide the implementation of the National Healthy Ireland plan at a local level until 2021.
