A 38 year old woman was detained in Bray yesterday after Gardaí seized €20,000 worth of cannabis plants following a surveillance operation on a house in the town.
Members of the Bray District Drug unit, assisted by the District Detective unit carried a search of the property yesterday afternoon after obtaining a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Acts,.
The grow house was found in the attic of the house and a number of cannabis plants were seized.
The 38-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and detained at Bray Garda Station, but has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
