A massive €8.4m has been allocated to 41 sustainable transport projects across County Wicklow.
Projects include cycle and pedestrian improvements for Arklow, Kilcoole, Blessington,Bray, Glenart and Ballyguilemore.
Plans are also afoot for a Park and Ride at Wicklow Train Station, Bray DART interchange, River Dargle cycleway, safe school zones in Greystones, Kilmacanouge, Arklow, Dunlavin, a local transport plan for Rathnew and a Pathfinder project for Greystones.
The NTA will oversee the projects announced today by Minister Eamon Ryan, and ensure they are accessible, age friendly and maximise comfort for all ages.
