About 93,400 people will receive the Pandemic Unemployment Payment this week, a slight fall on last week. Over 2,700 of those payments are to recipients here in the garden county.
Over €24 million was paid into bank accounts and post offices.
The numbers are 85% down on May of last year, according to the Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys.
Those PUP figures are in addition to about 162,000 people who are currently on the Live Register.
