The European Medicines Agency's safety committee will meet today, as part of its investigation into the AstraZeneca vaccine.
It will also hold an extraordinary meeting on Thursday, when it will make a final call on whether the Covid-19 injection is safe.
The Agency's current position is that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh the risks.
Ireland is among 16 countries who have temporarily stopped using the vaccine, over fears it causes blood clots.
