Health officials have confirmed 383 new cases of covid-19 have been confirmed here.
Two additional deaths relating to the virus have also been recorded.
Of today’s cases, 79% are under the age of 45.
129 are located in Dublin, 40 in Kildare, 32 in Meath, 25 in Donegal, 25 in Louth and the remaining 132 cases are spread across 21 other counties
There has been 10 additional covid related hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
And as of 8 O’Clock this morning 144 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 41 are in ICU.
