Figures obtained by Fianna Fáil show 130 children with disabilities in North and East Wicklow are now overdue for a needs assessment.
The number of overdue appointments rose nationwide to 3,768 at the end of June this year.
A further breakdown shows a proportionate difference in those waiting in Wicklow at 130 than in Dublin, with 7 waiting to be assessed.
The Kildare / West Wicklow region has 219 children waiting compared to just 38 in Dublin South.
Fianna Fáil Health Spokesperson Wicklow TD Stephen Donnelly says the figures are a damning reflection of the Government’s attitude to those living with disabilities.
