3 community groups in Wicklow are to benefit from government funding to help set up new sensory gardens in the county.1 million euro has been approved in funding by the Minister of State for Disabilities, Anne Rabbitte for 65 community groups around the country for the development of specialist sensory gardens. These gardens are designed to stimulate the senses and can be of particular benefit in enhancing the quality of life for people living with disabilities. Over 18,600 euro has been allocated to three groups in Wicklow. These are the Cheshire Home in Sheilelagh, St Catherine's Respite Centre in Newcastle and Sunbeam House Services in Bray.
