Former broadcaster and Wicklow resident Charlie Bird is calling on the public to back his efforts to raise money for a number of charities.
He wants you to climb a mountain or hill in their local area on the 2nd of April, as he and a group of friends climb Croagh Patrick in County Mayo.
The aim is to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House.
Charlie, who has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, says he wants to help others diagnosed with a terminal illness or going through a hard time.
