Almost €430,000 in cash has been seized at Rosslare Europort.
The find was made yesterday with the help of detector dog Flynn, in a UK registered vehicle as it was boarding a ferry to Bilbao.
A Polish man in his 30s was questioned in connection with the seizure.
The money is suspected of being connected to criminal activity.
