Buying A Home? Wicklow Remains The Most Expensive County Outside Dublin

A house in the Garden County will set you back and average of €455,831.

Buying a house in Wicklow will leave little change from half a million euro. 

Property prices continue to rise sharply in the county.

The latest CSO figures for February show a 6.8% increase nationwide year on year.

Outside of Dublin, house prices went up by 7.4%.

In the South East that increase jumps further to 9.4%

While the midpoint price for a home nationally stands at €390,000, here in Wicklow it’s just under €456,000.

Prices continue to rise at a faster pace outside of Dublin compared to the capital.
