An Arklow fisherman looking for compensation after purchasing a faulty boat has decided to scrap his vessel the Mary Kate.
CJ Gaffney made the purchase in 2007 but the following year the boat was deemed to be seriously unstable .
CJ says he has been locked in a battle for justice in recent years but with no success.
