169 deer were culled in the Phoenix Park in Dublin over the last two years.
According to freedom of information figures, 74 were culled in 2019 and 95 last year.
The Office of Public Works says it's necessary to keep the deer population to between 500 and 550 every year.
However the Alliance for Animal Rights, says the culls as unnecessary and other options such as Contraception or re-locating should be considered.
