Announcing the funding, Taoiseach Simon Harris said:
“Today I am thrilled to announce 30 of Wicklow’s Tidy Town Groups are going to benefit from a special grant of between €1,000 and €4,000.
“This is good news for members of the groups, good news for the community and shows the true recognition my Government have for the tireless and dedicated work of Tidy Town groups right across the county and country.
“I have always been in awe of the amazing work done by Tidy Town individuals.
“Volunteers working in these groups prove that small gesture can make for a better town and foster that sense of belonging within the community."
