Jamie Ryan joined members of Wicklow Pride for their ‘Dip and Sip’ social event in Wicklow Town as preparations continue for this year’s Wicklow Pride Festival. The relaxed gathering brought people together for a sea swim and coffee, offering an opportunity to connect, build community and celebrate inclusion ahead of a week of Pride events taking place across the county. Organisers explained why events like Dip and Sip are an important part of creating welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ people in Wicklow and helping foster a sense of belonging throughout the community.
