Dave Harrington

Friday, 1 May 2020 - 3 minutes

A number of buildings around County Wicklow will be lit up this evening to mark International Workers’ Day.
May 1st will be marked by lighting up buildings to recognise the contribution made by frontline staff and workers across the community in delivering essential services during the Coronavirus pandemic
The 19 Arches Bridge at Arklow will display a line of red lighting while the Bray Civic Offices will be illuminated in red.
Wicklow County Buildings lights will remain on overnight as well as other buildings around the county to remind us of the key role played by workers across the public sector and the community during the COVID-19 crisis.
Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Fine Gael Councillor Irene Winters spoke to Dave Harrington on East Coast Drive.
