Site works on the redevelopment of St. Colman’s Residential Care Centre in Rathdrum will get underway after Christmas.
The HSE has confirmed they now in the final stages of pre-contract discussions with the nominated contractor for this project.
The new Centre is designed to modern specifications and strategically uses the site orientation over the Avonmore Valley.
The new facility will replace all current residential beds with a state-of-the-art, single-occupancy facility.
The redevelopment will deliver 95 beds, 20 of which will be tailored specifically for residents living with varying levels of dementia.
